As May comes to a close, we’re gearing up for a powerful and transformative June. Men’s Mental Health Month is upon us, and we at are thrilled to announce the launch of’s campaign for the second year in a row. This initiative aims to break the silence, encourage open conversations, and celebrate our mental health and wellness every day.

Why Men’s Mental Health Matters

Mental health is a crucial aspect of our overall well-being, yet it’s often neglected, especially among men. Statistics show that men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues, leading to alarming rates of depression and suicide. It’s time to change that narrative. We believe that by sharing our stories and supporting each other, we can create a positive shift in how men approach mental health.

Canadian Men’s Mental Health Statistics

  • Suicide Rates: In Canada, 75% of those who die by suicide are men. This stark statistic highlights the urgent need for mental health awareness and support among men. (Source: Canadian Mental Health Association)

The Campaign

Starting June 1, 2024, we’re inviting men from all walks of life to join our campaign. It’s simple yet impactful: we want you to record a short video of yourself sharing a favorite quote, activity, book, or song that helps you with your mental health. Tell us what you do to switch your mindset around when times get tough. Tag on Instagram and use the hashtag #MenTELLHealth to spread the word and inspire others.

How You Can Participate

  1. Record Your Video: Share a personal story, a quote that inspires you, an activity that boosts your mood, a book that gives you strength, or a song that lifts your spirits.
  2. Tag and Collaborate: Tag on Instagram and invite others to join the movement. Use the hashtag #MenTELLHealth to connect with a community of men supporting each other.
  3. Spread the Word: Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to participate. The more voices we have, the stronger our message will be. |
